What a town! I'll be honest, the room was very dated. But, the customer service and location, trumped the issues. I would recommend this lodge to anyone looking, In our price range who has a dog...

Off the beaten path and a bit dated but was a comfortable bed and a quiet room.

This is a great location. It's older but kept up and clean. The gentleman who works in the office, (Ryder) is super helpful and very nice. The town itself is only about 2 blocks long, but it's nice to walk around.

The lodge itself was fine and the front desk person was friendly and helpful. But although there are five dinner restaurants in town not one was open on the Tuesday night we stayed here. None. And no bars open. And the only breakfast restaurant was also closed (and the lodge... Read more

Great location and friendly staff. Located in the center of town so you can park and walk around easily. If you are a MTB rider this is a GREAT place to visit as you can park in the parking lots in town and ride trails all the way to the beach. Only 20 minutes to Bodega Bay... Read more

Everything is as expected. Comfortable , clean, friendly staff, affordable, quiet, and perfect location.... Good sized room with out being too big. We would, will come back here again.

Great motel in Occidental

The Occidental Lodge is so nice. The team members and owners are also very friendly and helpful. Stay here any chance that you get.

I met the manager Andzia and she was a pure pleasure. They were in the middle of remodeling the rooms and she was passionate about the upgrades.

Beautiful stay in Occidental...just a short drive from the ocean!

Lovely and quiet. Perfect for a relaxing getaway.

Friendly staff. Expect a motel, be surprised at how nice of a motel room you got. Don't go expecting some fancy hotel and you won't be disappointed.

Pleasantly surprised. Clean, simple, liked the separate living from sleeping quarters! Loved the microwave!!
